NorCo CrossFit programs are ingrained in the foundational principles and philosophy of CrossFit. The impetus by design is constantly varied, using functional movements that are performed at a high intensity. Our workouts blend aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing, and more for optimal power output and fitness gain.
Our programs are not specialized and our workouts will enable you to meet and overcome life’s challenges – physical, mental, emotional. Your strength and confidence will be tested, but not broken. Where over-specialization breeds weakness, together we create a foundation upon strength and stamina on which you can build your active lifestyle.

They say your attitude determines your direction and we’re excited to be moving in that positive direction with you! Before we give you full access to our CrossFit classes, we need you to go through our Intro Session.
This course is designed so you can become familiar with not just our 9 fundamental movements, but a variety of movements you’ll see in our group sessions at our NorCo CrossFit Fort Collins location. We provide the Intro Session both in a group setting and one-on-one format.
For those with previous CrossFit experience, we do offer a test-out option. This will be a 1-2 hour session held with one of our trainers and is pass/fail. If you pass you’ll be able to join classes right away and if you fail you’ll have to complete the Intro Session course before starting group classes.
CrossFit is the core of what NorCo CrossFit is about. Whether you are just getting started, are an advanced CrossFitter, or an elite athlete, our program and coaches will make you better!
We start our classes with a general warm-up to ensure we prime our bodies for the movements and demands for the day. General warm-up is followed by a specific warm-up to teach you the skills and make the corrections on the movements performed that day. We make sure all the movements and weights are modified or made to be more challenging based on your individual fitness level. Dialing in movements and weights that match your fitness level ensure you move as efficiently as possible and get the returns you want! Then, it’s on to the WOD or Workout of the Day. We’ll explain the WOD, the range of motion standards, and if needed, the purpose of the WOD so you can maximize your training time.
From start to finish we’ll make sure your guided through each day so the hardest thing you’ll have to do is show up! We’ll take care of the rest.
In addition to our core CrossFit programming, we also provide strength and conditioning in multiple areas so you continue to grow as an athlete. Each program runs 6-12 weeks, starts with a testing phase and ends with a retesting phase, cycling throughout the year. At the end of each program, new programming is developed based upon our current members’ strengths and weaknesses.
On any given day you’ll be able to hone your skills on Barbell Lifts, Olympic Lifts, Endurance, Gymnastics, Midline Strength, Midline Conditioning, and any and all things to improve your general physical preparedness.
